GIS Mapping

The Pen-Link 8.0 GIS (Geographic Information System) Mapping tool allows you to perform mapping functions using the latest GIS technology. This means that your GIS mapping data can be imported into Pen-Link 8.0 and used as a “layer” with other mapping layers or all by itself. GIS mapping assumes “correct” geography because its linked to latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates. This enables overlaying and layering of GIS satellite images, street layers, and other mapping tools.

Our LINCOLN Access Points (LAP) customers often use the GIS Mapping functionality of Pen-Link 8.0 to triangulate during real time pen registers.
